Samsung Galaxy A26 Specifications & Galaxy A Series Leak

Samsung-Galaxy-A26-Specifications

In this blog we will discuss the Samsung Galaxy A26 Specifications and 2025 Galaxy A Series leak. Samsung is now concentrating on releasing other significant devices in its lineup after the launch of the Galaxy S25. Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A series continues to be the main factor in solidifying the company’s position as one of the top smartphone manufacturers in the world, even though its flagship phones and foldables garner the most attention.

At the next MWC 2025, Samsung is preparing to reveal its 2025 Galaxy A lineup. Prior to that, a significant leak has made nearly all of its upcoming mid-ranger models—the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26—public.

The main features and high-resolution renderings of the low-cost Galaxy phones have been described in detail in a report published by WinFuture. It’s intriguing to note that it states that the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 will all have 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screens. Only the A56 and A36 panels, though, ought to reach a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits.

According to reports, the Galaxy A36 will use Gorilla Glass 7+ for display protection, while the A56 will use Gorilla Glass Victus. An older version of Gorilla Glass is rumored to be used by the A26, the least expensive phone in the lineup.

With a vertical triple rear-camera arrangement and a key island housing the power key and volume buttons, the phones will essentially have the same design. The other two models have a punch hole in the front, while the A26 is the only one with a teardrop-shaped notch.

The Galaxy A56 is the only model in the lineup to have a metal frame, among other small variations. The Galaxy A26’s fingerprint scanner is reportedly going to be housed in the side key to keep costs down, but the other two models might use an in-display reader.

It’s intriguing to note that the three new Galaxy A phones will all come with the same 50MP f/1.8 primary camera with 4K recording and OIS. The A36 and aid to receive an 8MP ultrawide, while the Galaxy A56 may have a 12MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro. The A26 reportedly gets a 2MP sensor, while the former could use a 5MP macro.

A slight spec increase is planned for Samsung’s 2025 Galaxy A-series

The three phones differ from one another internally. The Galaxy A56, which is expected to use an Exynos 1580 chip, should be the most powerful of the group. Samsung intends to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip for the A36, while the Korean company’s older Exynos 1380 SoC is said to be used for the A26. According to reports, all three models will have up to 8GB of RAM, though the base A36 and A26 models might only have 6GB.

According to reports, Samsung will give each of the three phones a 5,000mAh battery. Only the Galaxy A56 and A36, though, will be able to use 45W fast charging; the A26 may only be able to use 25W. Android 15 and One UI 7 ought to be installed on all devices by default. The three phones’ European prices will not change from those of their predecessors.

Given that Samsung never released the Galaxy A55 in the US, it’s unclear if it will use the same strategy this year. It doesn’t seem likely that Samsung will launch this year again because of its heavy focus on its flagship phones and FE lineup in the US. Early next week, at MWC 2025, we should learn more about Samsung’s 2025 Galaxy A lineup’s availability.
