This is the latest news about Pakistan Public Holidays 2025. Recently, through an official announcement, the government of Pakistan has confirmed the dates for the upcoming 2025 public holidays. The Cabinet Division has issued a notification that includes holidays for both Islamic festivals as well as those for minority communities.

Among the public holidays for 2025 are the 5th February (Kashmir Day), 23rd March (Pakistan Day), Eid-ul-Fitr, Easter (for Minorities), First May (Labour Day), Eid-ul-Azha, Ashura (10th Muharram), Independence Day, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, Quaid-e-Azam Day, and Christmas Day (December 25).

The holidays that are related to Islamic festivals, like Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha and Ashura will be based on Islamic lunar calendar, with dates varying each year. Certain holidays that are observed by banks will not be observed as general public holidays.

These public holidays for 2025 will apply to all the institutions of government. The government has also declared holidays for minorities such as Holi, Baisakhi, Diwali and birthday of Guru Nanak Devji.
