Mitchell Santner, captain of New Zealand limited overs, acknowledged that Fakhar Zaman, a Pakistan batsman, presents a challenge since he runs great distances. Zaman returned internationally for Pakistan’s most recent ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa; he wasted little time making his presence felt as in the opening game against the Black Cap, he hammered 84 runs off 69 balls, including seven boundaries and four sixes.

Santner said he knows how good the Mardan native is even though the 34-year-old only scored 10 runs when the two sides crossed paths once more in the championship game. Indeed, he presents a challenge to us. He enjoys playing New Zealand; I believe he has runs every time he has visited us.

Along with a lot of their top six, top seven, we know how good he is; PakPassion reported him as saying on X, formerly known as Twitter. Now, Zaman will be active in the 2025 Champions Trophy, scheduled for February 19 to March 9.
