This is the latest news about NADRA Mobile App. On Thursday, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared that the Pak ID web portal would be shut down permanently and that the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) would be releasing a new mobile application.
Starting tomorrow, January 17, the Pak ID website, which offers services related to NADRA, will be permanently shut down. According to Mohsin Naqvi, a decision has been made to replace the website with the NADRA mobile app in order to give people better and more secure facilities.
Naqvi clarified that users encountered challenges with the website, especially when attempting to upload fingerprints and necessary documents, particularly Pakistanis residing overseas. He also emphasised that attempts were being made to misuse citizens’ personal information and that dishonest elements were helping to create fake identity documents through phoney websites. He added that the website will be shut down starting on January 17 in an effort to stop these activities.

According to Mohsin Naqvi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior have closely monitored these fraudulent activities. Together with other organisations, NADRA is making sure that these factors are addressed. He claimed that in order to deliver better services, the mobile app has undergone significant improvement.
All services, including ID cards, NICOP, POC, B-form, and FRC, will be accessible via the mobile app, allowing citizens to finish all documentation processes from the comfort of their own homes, Naqvi continued. Three new regional centres will be set up in Gilgit-Baltistan, Gwadar, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, according to Mohsin Naqvi.
By March 31, the new regional offices will be up and running. The opening of these offices will enhance service delivery in rural areas and promote improved communication between citizens and NADRA officials.
