Recently, the authorities of Punjab have announced winter vacations in Punjab schools. A notification is issued by the Punjab School Education Department, which states that the winter vacations will span 24 days across the province. All public and private schools in Punjab will remain closed from December 23 to January 10.

Due to the severe weather in Murree, schools will remain closed for an extended period of time. In Murree, as stated by the notification, the winter holidays will commence from December 23 to February 28.
After the winter vacations, schools will resume on January 13, 2025 all over the Punjab.
